Noun poem

Pack Of Deer
By: Harrisen pike

As fast
As a Squadron of lions
Full of fear
As strong
As mushroom-Men

As exited
As pigeons eating Fries

As fast as Matt Forte
Full of passion

As cool
As volley balls
Full of Molecules

As shiny
As a dark brown log

And as unique
As the Statue of liberty

Nothing can beat a Pack of Deer

Poem about me

ME
By: Harrisen pike
Family and friends
Make my day
While
Mario takes my face

I’m a
Cheerful golfer Happy, strong and Shy

While favors
Take to Hockey and
Football

This is what I’m made of!

People call me cool
Which is what I like

People call me shy
Which is
Not to fight
People say Ice Hockey
Is my type

This is
What
I’m made of!

Ghetto
Inspired by: Lupe Fiasco
Poem by: Harrisen Pike
The ghetto is the poorest part of town
Nobody spends money on “em”
Charities’ may help out but don’t do enough
People come around
Just to help us out “thanks”
But, I was once that little boy
Lost and terrified of the world
But now I’m on a world tour
And I hope
Your son aint have a gun
And never be a D-boy
The show goes on all “right”

I’m unaffected by them threats
But, don’t let nobody play me boy
If you are my homeboy you never have to please me
But, just remember
When you come up
The show goes on all right
(Pause)

1 in the air for the people aint there
2 in the air for the kids in the ghetto
3 in the air for the kids that don’t wanna be there
None in the air for the people trying to hold “em” back
The show goes on all right

I would even start a world war
For them ghetto boys and girls
I’m running round the world for
“Ya” the show goes on all right

No matter what you’ve been through,
No matter what you’ve seen
When you look out your window
Green grass or brown grass
Picket fence or barbwire
Never ever put “em” down
Just lift your arms higher till your arms tire

Let them now that your there
Struggling ya!
Aint nobody leaving aint nobody going
Even if they turn the lights out the show still goes on ya!

Metaphor poem

Life
By: Harrisen pike
Life is a journey
Travel it well

Life is an Astroughnaut
Floating through space
Of despair

Life is a game
Follow the route

Time is a virus
That spreads through out life

Life is a door
That you chose
At birth

Life is everything
Life is you

S.S essay-The similarities between the Egyptian and American revoulotion

Similarities between the Egyptian and American Revolutions
By George, Carter, and Harrisen

The Egyptian revolution and the American revolution are the same in many different ways. The similarities between the Declaration of independence and the recent revolution in Egypt have a lot of similarities.
Both the Egyptians and the Americans did not like there government. The Americans and the Egyptians suffered from police and soldier brutality in a inhumane way. They both did not have the freedom to make a speech in public. They both suffered from cruel inflation and debt caused by the government.
At first both the Americans and Egyptians were peaceful, but the revolutions soon became violent! The Egyptians started out peacefully. Then they started violent clashes with security forces and protesters. The Americans also started out peacefully but, because they rejected the authority of the Parliament of Great Britain, they sent combat troops to re-impose direct rule. So in the end they both became very very very very very violent, because they both got angry and disappointed in their government.
Looking at the politics of the two revolutions, there were a relative amount similarities, with a few differences. Both revolutions were successful in over throwing their rulers from ruling the protesters, although in Brittan King George 111 was still king. The revolutions were different, as only the Americans had a Declaration of independence. The Egyptian army is still in control though, so the protesters haven't fully accomplished their goal.
From the suffering from the cruel inflammation of the government, to getting angry and disappointed in their government, and overthrowing the original rulers, the two revolutions were similar in a variety of different ways.
